LeBron James’ “The Decision of All Decisions” has become an ad.
Inspired by his 2010 decision to join the Miami Heat, LeBron James sent the social media world abuzz with a post on his social media channels announcing that he was making a “second decision.”
This quickly sparked speculation that James would announce his retirement ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season. But the big reveal ended up being James announcing a new partnership with Hennessy.
This was a very disappointing announcement in the eyes of many who were expecting something more noteworthy.
Skip Bayless is no stranger to criticizing James.
He spent his career appearing on ESPN and FOX Sports and targeting future Hall of Famers multiple times.
After James was disappointed with the announcement, Bayless wasted no time in attacking James again, questioning if he was starved for attention.
James’ retirement remains a mystery after he tricked fans into believing he would announce his retirement on a “second decision.”
James is about to enter his 23rd NBA season, something no NBA player has ever experienced before.
James and the Los Angeles Lakers did not agree to a new contract extension this offseason, allowing LeBron to become a free agent next summer and choose to play for another team.
James has already said he is not waiting for his other son, Bryce James, to join the league, so this could be his last season. Or he could continue to tease fans with his eventual departure.
