Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim sent a clear message this summer after being asked about Mateus Cunha.
The final tickets are still available for the Champions League Finals!
As widely reported, Cunha is scheduled to join Man UTD this summer, despite no official announcement of the signature yet.
Still, Brazil International shines with wolves and seems inevitable for a while as he is on his way out of Molinaw.
According to Atretic and others, United appears to have won the Cunha signed race, but Amorim is eager to not confirm anything yet.
When asked about Cunha, Amorim was quoted in an email saying he was slightly avoiding questions, admitting that changes would be made to his team this summer.
Reuben Amorim’s Matheus Cunha Transfer Question Answer
“You have to wait for it (announcement). I won’t check anything. I have no news. We’ll see. There are some changes,” Amorim said.
Managers need to be aware of these things as there is always a small risk that things will fall at very late stages.
In most cases, that doesn’t happen, so it’s probably only a matter of time before United fans wait until they see Cunha officially announced.
What can Matheus Cunha bring to Manchester United?
Cunha looks like someone ready to step up to a bigger club as he approaches something like the peak of his career.
The 26-year-old finished the 2024/25 season with 18 goals and six assists in all club and country competitions.
Needless to say, if he could unite such forms, he would certainly be giving Amorim a massive upgrade of flops and misfits like Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.
