Tottenham forward son Hong Min has surprisingly announced his plans to leave the club this summer.
There has been some speculation about the recent future of South Korea International, but my son has made the surprising decision to make public about his future.
The report from football has collected all the words his son said when he spoke about his decision to leave the Spurs, but Fabrizio Romano reports that the move to MLS is considered his most likely destination.
His son spent 10 years at Tottenham and appeared in several preseason matches this summer, but now it appears he is nearing the end of his time in North London.
For Romano’s post about his son’s future, see below…
Romano said: “Breaking: Hyun Min’s son has decided to leave Tottenham this summer. The players have also informed Spurs management and new manager Thomas Frank.
What his son Hyun Min said about his decision to leave Tottenham
Speaking at the press conference, my son said: “Before we start, I just want to share information that I decided to leave this club this summer, and with respect, this club will help me make my decision.
He added: “It was the most difficult decision I made in my career. I spent 10 years at Tottenham, the main reason being that I accomplished everything I could at Tottenham. I need a new environment for a fresh challenge.
“I am grateful that the club respects my decision and that I wish Spurs well next season.”
Son leaves the Spurs as a club legend
The son will undoubtedly leave THFC as one of their modern greats and one of the club’s legends after a great career in British football.
The 33-year-old finally got his silverware after scoring 173 goals in Tottenham’s 454 appearances and won Manchester United in the Europa League final last season.
At his peak, his son was one of Europe’s top offensive players and while he could certainly have played for a bigger club, he remained loyal to the Spurs.
