Despite surprising interest from Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Chelsea remain eager to the potential relocation of Sports Lisbon defender Osmanedio Mande.
Catch off side We have previously reported that Arsenal and Chelsea are focusing on Diomande, but we can also confirm the interest reported by other Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old has shown himself to be a huge talent during his sporting days, where he developed particularly well under the guidance of Reuben Amorim, who left to take over as manager of Manchester United last year.
The Telegraph currently claims that Diomande is emerging as an ambitious target for the palace this summer, but there may be a big fight for his signature.
Oousmane Diomande has many famous transfer jobs
Catch off side I understand that Diomande is still on the radar of famous celebrities such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern, Palace and Villas.
Sports are likely to claim a asking price of £67 million, which certainly proves to be too expensive, especially for the palace.
Still, the Telegraph notes that the people of South London have Mark Guech in the final year of his contract, so that could mean that summer sales are on the cards.
It may give the palace a substantial amount to Diomande sign as an alternative.
Oousmane Diomande is perfect for Chelsea projects
It remains to be seen what Diomande will decide, or who will make him the most attractive offer, but Chelsea looks like an ideal destination for him.
Ivory Coast International fits well with the Blues’ policy of recruiting the best young players from around the world.
With William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in existence, there will certainly be limited opportunities at Arsenal, but Diomande had no problems with Chelsea.
I imagine Enzo Maresca would make Diomande a more starter than an unconvincing performer like Benoit Badiashile or Trevoh Chalobah.
Chelsea are also fond of Yarel pigeons as they are looking for a new signature for their defense this summer.
