A fierce transfer race is being played throughout Europe for Bournemouth rising star Dean Huyssen. I caught an offside sauce.

The 20-year-old defender has attracted the attention of some of the continent’s biggest clubs following a series of impressive performances in the Premier League.

The Spaniard has made 34 appearances for the Premier League side in all competitions this season.

His physical presence, his calm to the ball and his ability to read the game have marked him as one of the most promising young defenders in European football.

Real Madrid continues to maintain a strong interest in Bournemouth’s growing defensive talent, Huizen.

The Spanish giant is reportedly investigating the possibility of including loan players as part of a potential deal to offset Bournemouth’s rating.

In addition to Real Madrid, Premier League giants Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are also actively pursuing young defenders.

Among these suitors, Chelsea is currently considering bringing up a £50 million release clause for Huijsen, showing its intention to secure a talented centre-back.

Despite the fierce competition, Chelsea is believed to lead the race and has already begun discussions with player representatives.

However, Liverpool and Arsenal are not too late in their pursuit. Both clubs see Huyssen as a long-term investment that can strengthen the line of defense.

Bundesliga Sides RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are evaluating the prospects for a loan agreement to bring Huijsen to Germany. Both clubs are known for developing young talent.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has also expressed strong interest, but faces internal challenges before taking a formal approach.

Bayern clubs must first create their defensive room. Kim Min Jae is most likely to leave, paving the way for a potential bid for Huijsen.

The next few weeks are expected to be crucial for the club to position themselves at the forefront of one of the most interesting transfer races of the summer.

Chelsea also launched a move this summer to sign AC Milan attacker Rafael Leo.

Enzo Maresca is keen to add new players to some of the positions that Aston Villa’s Morgan Rodgers also has on the Blues’ radar.
