Tottenham is stepping up efforts to sign Brentford Captain Nathan Collins. Catch off side.
Collins is signing with Brentford until 2029, which complicates the potential transfers and the Bees are hoping not to lose more important players after a difficult summer.
Thomas Frank left Brentford’s manager to take over at Tottenham, starwinger Brian Mbeumo later left for Manchester United, and Christian Norgaard moved to Arsenal.
Collins is currently attracting interest from Tottenham, Liverpool and Man United, and Spurs are now increasing their efforts to seduce the Republic of Ireland in North London.
Frank wants to work with the former player again, and his contact details are expected to be imminent.

Manchester United are also in the mix, but their financial situation means they need to sell players before they can make a serious bid. Many sources have confirmed that this is expected to put them at a disadvantage in the race.
Liverpool, on the other hand, is in a strong financial position. They have raised significant funding by offloading Darwin Nunes, Luis Diaz and Kaoimhin Keleher and are now trying to bolster their backline.
Collins is one of the names on Liverpool’s list, but no official approach has been made yet, as Crystal Palace’s Marcguech is named a more prioritized for the Reds.
Overall, this could indicate that THFC is Collins’ most likely destination if Brentford is confident in selling.
Spurs focuses on Eze, but Collins is next
Tottenham is locked up in the signature of palace playmaker Ebeki Eze, but once that’s done, you can expect Collins’ move.
The 24-year-old is ideal to give the Spurs more defensive depth and help them deal with the pressure to play in the Champions League this season.
If you can add Eze and Collins to Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso and more, it can look like a very powerful transfer window for Spurs.
