Rookie Stephen Curry tried to tell Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant about the garbage.
During the 2009-10 NBA season, rookie Stephen Curry began his journey with the Golden State Warriors.
At the time, Los Angeles Lakers legend Coby Bryant was considered the best player in the NBA. After all, Kobe and the Lakers followed to win the 2009 NBA Championship.
Clearly, playing well with Bryant has been a dream come true for NBA players, not to mention rookies. Well, Curry seemed to have done that during the game, but made the mistake of trying to tell Kobe about the garbage.
During Curry’s rookie year, the Lakers and Warriors played each other four times. While the Lakers were to win all the games, there was one contest where Steph tried to get into Mamba’s head.
The baby face-to-face assassin made a revelation during his recent appearance with Speedy at 360.
“It was a home match at Oracle and they were winning, and I think they were like six or something like that, and we were starting a foul game and he went to the line.
And I said to him by saying, “Yo, are you nervous?” The look he gave me was me – just burned into my (heart),” Curry said.
He added: “He’s a rookie talking to him, but the two of them said, “Are I nervous? What are you talking about?”
The game Curry mentions is the contest on March 15th, 2010. The final matchup score was 124-121 in favor of the Lakers.
In the game, both Curry and Bryant each scored 29 points. Maybe that gave curry the confidence to try and talk about trash to mamba?
If there is one star that is the epitome of the garbage story, it is nothing more than Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. It includes the famous “Shrug Game” from Jordan when he played Clyde Drekler.
Another popular instance is that Jordan closed his eyes before making a free throw and dedicated himself to famous defender Dickenbem Tombo.
Steph hopes for something similar to Kobe, “I walked over there and blindfolded and closed my eyes, hoping he would do it like Jordan and I thought, ‘Mmongbo, this is for you,’ which is what Jordan said. ”
in fact? Bryant did something even more horrifying. “But the expression he gave me said it all. It was, “Yo, you’ve arrived here. Like a relaxation. Stay in your lane. Brothers, brothers.”
While Curry descended on the wrong foot in Kobe, he eventually gained the respect of Mamba before his ascension to Superstarm.
