The Minnesota Timberwolves, led by Anthony Edwards, were defeated in Game 4 of the meeting final match against the OKC Thunder.
The 23-year-old scored 16 points on a 5-13 shot from the field, making him the second worst game in scoring in the playoffs this year.
But Anthony Edwards made it clear that despite what his scoring statistics show, he doesn’t think it’s a bad game for him.
After the game, Chet Holmgren explained what the OKC Thunder did to contain Edwards’ influence.
Having an off-game in the playoffs is normal for star players, but when asked about his performance, Stephen A. Smith raised questions to Anthony Edwards about his response.
Edwards did not speak to the media after his defeat against the Thunder in Game 2 of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He then returned strongly to Game 3 and led him to a victory that blew his side out, but Edwards wasn’t at his usual best in Game 4.
Smith expressed his disappointment by asking Edwards about a passive night at home and publishing the series in the series.
He said: “Are you a superstar player who declares you are? The fact in question is Ant-Man is special and we saw how Shy Gilgas Alexander was doing.
“I don’t want to hear, ‘I played right.’ When you play the 48 minute game, your season is potentially a line. No one actually comes from the 3-1 deficit, which is very rare in NBA history. ”
Smith explained how Shy Gilgauss Alexander stepped up to the OKC Thunder team on Edwards Home Court and led his team to victory.
“A person who registered an MVP trophy just a few days ago and saw him dropping 40-10 and 9 on his grass at home, said, “I don’t think I had any trouble, I think I played the right game, when I was a relatively pedestrian performance for you, it is forgiven to my concerns,” he said.
The veteran analyst revealed that Edwards hopes to take accountability and do the show to lead the Timberwolves.
“Sometimes, you have to engage in hero balls, sometimes you have to be a little selfish, sometimes you have to go out there and show the level of attacks that may turn people off until you turn them on because you’re a show stopper.
Many Timberwolves players reflect the phrase how great leader Edwards is.
Only 23, Edwards has already shown how to run the franchise deeper into the playoffs, and get through difficult times and ride the waves.
The Timberwolves weren’t doing their best in the season, but they finished their strong regular season and reached the playoffs as one of the league’s most informs.
Many credits for that have played an important role in making new players feel comfortable with their team and motivate them to introduce the game to other teammates, so they have to go to Ant-Man.
Julius Randle praised him for saying that Edwards said to motivate his team for a dominant Game 3 victory.
His performance was elite as Edwards averaged 25-7-5 in the postseason.
Two All-Star performances determine the results of the Timberwolves and don’t often lose when the team plays well.
Heading into Game 5, he hopes the victory will bounce hard towards the series back to Game 6’s Target Center, which has a 5-2 record in the playoffs this year.
