Stephen A. Smith thinks it’s time for Anthony Edwards to send a message to the rest of the NBA in his first round with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves face rather difficult battles in the playoffs. The Timberwolves face the Los Angeles Lakers.
Rudy Goat’s words about Luca Donchic’s trade could come back to plague him in this series. The French face a tough battle, considering what Donsic did to him in last year’s playoffs.
But Gortbert knows he must step up and be the second option behind Anthony Edwards. Edwards recently channeled Michael Jordan in regular season games, but has to do so again in the playoffs.
Anthony Edwards has long said he doesn’t want to be the face of the NBA. But Stephen A. Smith still thinks he has to send a message to the rest of the league.

Stephen A. Smith spoke about his first take on the upcoming Lakers Timberwolves series. He begged Anthony Edwards to send a message.
Smith believes Anthony Edwards needs to remind fans of who he is and why he is considered a superstar in this league.
“Anthony Edwards, are you listening? You’re a superstar in this league, my brother. Box office!
“I don’t want to see 19 points in a game with 40% shooting against the Lakers this season, 32% from the 3-point range. Not enough.”
“This is the only shot that Minnesota has even made this into a series, because it’s easy to see the Lakers win this in six.”
“It gets interesting here. If Ant-Man himself said, “I’m tired of these damn superstars and this LeBron James and Luka Donsic. I have something to say about it. I’m Ant-Man.”

Last year, Anthony Edwards took the Timberwolves to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years.
But they will reach out to Luca Donsic and the Dallas Mavericks. A year later, Ant must face Luke again.
It’s not just the fact that Luka Donsic is currently paired with LeBron James that makes this even more difficult. But there’s also the fact that Edwards doesn’t have the town of last year’s teammate Karl Anthony.
With Julius Randle being the infamous playoff slamper and Rudy Goat being an offensive question mark on the best day, it’s up to Edwards to get things around for the Timberwolves.
