Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr highlights one key quality ability for Draymond Green.
The Golden State Warriors have really changed things by repeating the NBA trade deadline this season after adding Jimmy Butler to the roster.
Dub created a chance to finish in the top six in the Western Conference standings. In their incredible run, the Warriors faced the Houston Rocket in a recent game.
Despite the Warriors being very shapeful, the Rockets looked after the business as they registered a solid 106-96 victory.
One of the main topics about the Warriors’ 10-point loss and rocket was the performance of veteran forward Draymond Green.
Green is a favorite of the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award this season, but there is one major complaint that fans have about his game.
It’s nothing more than Green’s attack, which earned five fouls. When asked about this supposed issue with the Green, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr immediately jumped to the 35-year-old defense.
“I love Draymond Fire. Why I got four banners out there.
“We’re nothing without Draymond. I love his fire. He was fighting there, but he didn’t go down our path,” Kerr said.
Rather than criticizing veterans offensively, coach Kerr loves it and believes he would not have succeeded unless Greene became the team’s defensive anchor.
Aside from committing five personal fouls, Green was also accused of a technical foul in the third quarter.
As expected, Greene entered it along with the officials, and Rocket’s Alperen Sen put on his elbow to prove his point. After the incident, Green’s foul was upgraded to a Flagrant 1 foul.
Following this, Greene has committed three prominent fouls and 18 this season over the course of his career.
Additionally, Green has 13 technical fouls on his name this season and has 163 throughout his time with the Warriors in the league.
