Steve Kerr gave props for the Houston Rockets’ physicality and compared them to legendary teams of the past.
The Golden State Warriors won a massive victory on the road against the Houston Rockets. It was a dangerous event, but the warriors relied on their experience to see them.
However, fans were not impressed by the Warriors’ performance. This is because the Rockets have made them fight the whole game and threatened to go back and win several times.
The Rockets had an incredibly physical defense. Udoka’s Imen Thompson compared to Kyrie Irving once again had a great defense with Stephen Curry.
But the entire Rockets squad deserves praise for their performance. And Steve Kerr gave them that and compared them to a historic rocket team.

Steve Kerr spoke after the Warriors won the Rockets. He had a lot of praise for Rocket for how they played.
Kerr compared the Rockets team to the 1997 Rockets team led by Hakeem Olajuwon, who caused trouble for himself, Michael Jordan and the Bulls.
“They’re not the typical modern NBA team. They’re kind of old school in terms of spreading you and playing fast.”
“In many ways, they’re in the image of a coach. IME was a grinder as a player. He was tough and physical. That’s Houston.”
“In this series, they know where the advantage lies, and that’s where (Steven) Adams plays a lot.

The Warriors won the night, but they have to adapt to the Rockets’ playing style. Ime Udoka has a star who plays the extremely physical and gritty brand of basketball.
Dillon Brooks is a “dangerous” player in his antics, but the rest of the Rockets are a disciplined, concentrated force defending the elite.
Amen Thompson won praise from players for how Stephen Curry played defense.
The Rockets may be inexperienced teams, but the Warriors are probably making a big mistake of disregarding them.
