Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr explains how Stephen Curry played when he returned to the team.
The Golden State Warriors have multiple players, including Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, who can be the best player on the court on any night.
However, Stephen Curry is definitely a player who clicks on every cog in the machine. It was evident during the brief absence of curry due to tailbone damage.
The Warriors were handed over in a row by the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat amid Curry’s injuries. Steph helped Dub take a shot of one consecutive win against the Pelicans in New Orleans.
The Babyface assassin finished with 23 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steel during his comeback with the Pelican.
Head coach Steve Kerr responded to the performance of the 11X NBA All-Star during the post-game meeting.
Carr said:
The biggest criticism of Curry’s return was his inactive shooting display from the floor as he shot just 33.3% off the field.
“He missed the last five or six threes, so the numbers didn’t look good, but he looked like he was.
Curry suffered a tailbone injury to the Toronto Raptors after falling violently to the floor. The 37-year-old had a hairline fracture compared to a similar injury that affected him in 2021.
“When I fell on the Houston stairs it was just a reminder of 2021. Thankfully, I didn’t break anything or suffer any damage to the bones.
“I feel it for a while, but I can play, and I can’t make it worse unless I land it again.”
As far as his current health goes, Steph assured fans that he has not faced any lingering effects this season.
“A week’s break on one side is great because you’re resting. But timing, patience to go through normal minutes, it was a bit of a challenge.
“I’m just trying to manage the game and not doing anything crazy.”
The Warriors are currently 42-31 and are tied to the Los Angeles Clippers. Currently they are the seventh species of the Western Conference.
