After an emotional Game 7 victory in Golden State, coach Kerr explained how Draymond Green’s actions after Game 6 contributed to the team.

The Golden State Warriors have NBA fans believe in them once again after comfortable beating the Houston Rocket in Game 7 of the first round series.

Draymond Green was once again the main character during the match. The former DPOY was throwing shade at officials, picking up prominent fouls and techniques.

Green’s antics cost warriors, especially in Game 6. His early prominent fouls set the tone and the team never recovered. Draymond and Steve Kerr even embraced the fouling issue, which cost them.

He contributed to Game 7, scoring 16 points, grabbing six rebounds and paying five assists. But it was that he was out of court that he received praise from coach Kerr.

The 35-year-old Green has struggled to keep him cool in the game, and that could be a problem. Being accountable makes all the difference, and that’s exactly what he did.

After the game, Kerr revealed how Draymond’s actions set the tone of Game 7 victory against the Houston Rockets.

“Draymond set the tone at a team meeting last night,” Kerr said after the match. “Essentially, he owns to lose his composure in Game 6 and I agreed with him.

“You know, I thought the terrible foul after four minutes of the game was a tone setter. He knew.

“So he spoke to the group last night and said, ‘I have to settle down, and I have to get better, and we’re going to come here tomorrow and get it done.”

“And I think he has his emotional stability tonight, his calmness from the start.

After beating the Rockets in a fierce battle series, the Warriors’ reward faces Anthony Edwards and the rejuvenating Minnesota Timberwolves.

Stephen Curry must be at his best, but Jimmy Butler doesn’t need any extra motivation for the wolves. However, Draymond Green is the key to the Golden State.

Rudy Gobert, Naz Reid, and Julius Randle mean that the wolves have sizes on the sides. Green’s defense and playmaking will counter that discrepancy.

Packing a statistical sheet is not something Draymond does. But if he can stay calm and continue leading the warrior, it could change everything in the next round.
