Golden State Warriors – Steve Kerr’s comments after Game 4 of the Houston Rockets series could be in favor of Draymond Green.
The Golden State Warriors fly high in the NBA playoffs. Winning Monday night, they took a 3-1 lead over the Houston Rockets.
It was a rough and rough game, with physicality from both sides drawing many eyeballs. Brandin Podziemski was the star of the show, and even he got caught up in all the mud of it.
Draymond Green had multiple brawls and incidents with players in court, including Dillon Brooks. The Rockets continued their own tactics against the Green in Game 4, but were not as successful.
Green had a great defensive game and made some really big plays, including the final stop to win the game. And it seemed Steve Kerr was digging into the NBA voting group because he recently snuck.

Steve Kerr spoke about Draymond Green’s performance after the match. When talking about how well he went, Kerr lavished Green with praise.
He called Draymond the biggest defender of all time and explained how well he did. It felt like Carr’s subtle way to cut down on Evan Mobley, the man who won the Green Player of the Year.
“He is the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life and he stands up on opportunity, in addition to being a great defender. He’s an incredible competitor.”
“I’ve seen it for 11 years. The game of the game, Draymond, is stopped. It’s like having Steph Curry take a shot.”

Draymond Green was a finalist for the Win Defance Player of the Year Award, along with Dyson Daniels and ultimate winner Evan Mobley.
Many fans were surprised that Green lost the award to Mobley, but won the NBA Hustle Award. But Draymond had nothing but great things to say about Evan Mobley’s victory.
However, Green was mad at Darius Garland taking a shot on Mobley’s behalf. Obviously, that was something he felt was not guaranteed.
Greene won the defensive player of the year once in his career, winning the award on his way to the NBA Championship in 2017.
