Sunderland supporters must keep an eye on transfer rumors, including the busy side this summer.
The bold new Premier League boy has already welcomed him by surprise six new signatures to the camp at Regis Le Bliss, and supporters thought that Armando Lauriente’s arrival from Sassoro would reach seven when it was officially announced.
The 18-goal hero was filmed jumping into Wearside before completing the statement.
In fact, Sky Sports Northeast Reporter Keith Downie revealed on Sunday that the deal was turned off after a failure to reach an agreement between all the parties. As a result, Sunderland decided to end the discussion.
Lauriente traveled to Portugal and was on the Black Cats team before the preseason, but now he has to return to Italy.
As a result, what’s next for Sunderland?
Sunderland is still chasing the £34 million striker
There will be a time when Sunderland’s fast approach in the transfer market will inevitably slow down, but it doesn’t seem to arrive anytime soon.
Certainly, Sunderland is now back on McKems’ drawings to find someone to make up for the fact that Lauriente won’t arrive at Wearside this summer.
According to developments from journalist Ryan Taylor, Almeria’s goal machine, Sunderland’s move, Luis Suarez, has returned once it got cold.
Certainly, the Spanish outfit has said they will soon move forward in negotiations with other clubs for Starman, and received a throw at the end of the sport, waiting for Victor’s Gyoker to move to Arsenal before committing to the Switch.
The Black Cat has already been in touch over the contract of the £34 million rating attacker. Burnley has previously submitted inquiries.
Why is Suarez even better than Lauriente?
Over the 33 Serie B conflicts last season, Lauriente regularly tore Italy’s second division into shreds, finishing the campaign with 18 goals and five assists next to his name.
Surprisingly, Suarez was even more prolific in Almeria and Spain’s second division throughout 25/2024, showing why it was probably not so much a mistake for Sunderland if they could sign an alternative.

In total, Suarez scored 27 goals and supported eight goals. He also created ten big opportunities for money to show his creative side.
Certainly, the striker doesn’t just have a “crazy” record in front of goals, as previously labelled by Scout Jace Krigg, but like Lauriente, he has the creativity to boot.
But it’s Suarez, and certainly comes up in two important areas for forward, scoring and creativity.
He was not a wonder of one hit, but won 19 in 38 league outings in Spain’s second division in 2019/20.
The Almeria star is clearly prolific forward, and despite missing Lauriente, it may not all be fate and darkness for Le Bri. Suarez also looks like a rather useful talent.
