Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the surprise story of a round about Arsenal, who is interested in the potential relocation of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Chelsea goalkeeper appears to be on the gunner’s radar as he is looking for backup to David Raya next season.
Kepa is not the signature most Arsenal fans were looking for in this transfer window, but it appears to be available after the end of Loan Spell at Bournemouth.
As Romano confirmed in the X post below, Arsenal has been informed of the situation in Kepa this summer, with the former Real Madrid lender having a £5 million release clause on the contract.

Kepa has struggled a lot at Chelsea, but he will bounce back to Bournemouth and appear to be a solid backup option for Arsenal.
Interest for transfers from Kepa to Arsenal has been confirmed
Romano posted: “Arsenal will be notified of Kepa’s £5 million release clause as an option to become a backup for David Raya. As reported by SkyUK, the initial talk was notified of the terms of the transaction.”
The Italian journalist may not have taken this opportunity to be the first of the story, but when he posts about something, you know it is a story with a real foot.
Arsenal fans may have other priorities this summer as the club is waiting for the club to sign a new striker and a new winger, but Mikel Arteta has been made with the solid and experienced backup behind Raya.
Will Arsenal sign yet another player from Chelsea?
If this deal occurs, the recent trend will continue with Arsenal and Chelsea doing business in the transfer market.
This has seen several aging flops, including replacing the Stamford Bridge at Emirates Stadium, including David Lewis, Willian, and Raheem Sterling.
Still, there were Kai Herberts who made a great improvement over Chelsea towards Arsenal, but other big names like Olivier Giroud and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang are among those representing both clubs.
