Crystal Palace is reportedly speaking to an advisor to Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson about the £15 million transfer agreement.
The 25-year-old spent lending at Fulham last season after struggling with regular playing times at Emirates Stadium, but it’s not too surprising to see his future still questionable.
It appears Fulham might sign Nelson forever, but they could not reach an agreement with Arsenal.
As such, the Palace is now said to have joined the run to sign Nelson for around £15 million.
The report adds that the Palace is in discussion with Nelson’s advisors, adding that there is likely to be a permanent deal after a string of loan moves.
Reiss Nelson to set out Arsenal for Crystal Palace?
Nelson went through Arsenal’s academy and felt a great prospect when he first broke into the first team.
But things haven’t been going very well for Nelson, and now there are a lot of players in the pecking order before him.
Mikel Arteta has a wide selection of products including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Nuni Maduke and Eberechi Eze.
It makes sense that Eze will only join from the palace and these two clubs will do business together again. Nelson looks like a Selhurst Parkbound.
Oliver Glasner has done a great job on this palace side and has achieved it too much since they won the FA Cup final last season.
Glasner imagines Nelson as the ideal manager to help him improve in the Premier League and become a more consistent performer.
