The Los Angeles placed right fielder Tescal Hernandez on their 10-day injury list ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Miami Marlins
Hernández’s MRI results diagnosed him with a grade 1 adduct strain. manager Dave Roberts said Hernandez would be on the sidelines for a while.

“Obviously he’ll be inactive for a while,” Roberts said Tuesday. “I really don’t know the timetable. I think it’s all conditioned when he starts backing up again.”
“It’s certainly a few weeks,” added Roberts. “But I don’t know how long I don’t know. I don’t know.”
Roberts has more positive updates and concrete timelines on Wednesday. Hernandez said he could return in about two weeks.
Hernandez finished the series opener for Ioandopot Park, which is at the bottom of three innings. Roberts said he felt two All-Star tension in his adduction and hamstring after going to the ball in the outfield.

Hernandez signed a one-year contract with the in 2024. However, after outstanding performances during the season and the World Series running, the re-signed Hernandez to a three-year, $66 million contract in January.
This season, Hernandez has been cutting .315/.333/.600 while logging .333 OPS, nine home runs and 34 RBIs in 33 games. The 2024 NL Silver slugger was hot at the plate before his injury, reducing .448/.467/.690 in his final seven games.
