Thai Wofinden shares footage of himself as he began recovering from a major crash in Poland.
The three Speedway Champion was injured during a race at Rzeszow and airlifted to hospital.
In his absence, Sheffield Tigers teammate Josh Pickering shed tears as he discussed the injury of a friend.
But Woffinden broke the silence from his hospital bed via social media and now shows more of his rehabilitation.
“10 days after coma,” he said Monday.
Woffinden listed his injuries: “Dual compound right femoral fracture (fixed and bolted with bolted).
“Broken back Th9 plating and screwed into Th8 and Th10. Right humorous compound fracture.
“Right elbow, 12 fractured ribs, dislocated lungs and broken lungs.
“I got a fracture in my left shoulder and a dislocation in my left shoulder.”
Woffinden added: “All the wild typing…”
Woffinden also posted footage of herself walking with support.
“Tai has gone through more than we could even begin to imagine,” his wife Fei said already.
She stated about his injury:
“Even so, his spirit remains strong.”
