The Milwaukee Bucks are making a big decision about the future of star player Giannis Antetocomo.

Since their inspirational decision to draft Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2013, the Milwaukee Bucks have enjoyed the rise of superstars and become one of the best players in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to win the NBA Championship in 2021, but since then they have not come close to repeating it.

Many misfortunes were involved due to injuries, but the swings the Bucks made in trade are not rewarded.

Damien Lillard is currently out with Achilles injury and is set to miss everything for next season, and the future looks tough for Giannis if he stays in Milwaukee after another first-round playoff exit.

All this means that teams across the league are now looking to the Bucks to see if they have the opportunity to win a superstar.

There are four teams with draft picks and assets distances, and you can put together a huge package to trade with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

These are the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Net and San Antonio Spurs.

Another team leaning towards making the move is the Cleveland Cavaliers who hit a wall in the playoffs at the exit of the 4-1 series to the Indiana Pacers.

Speaking about his podcast, Bill Simmons believes the Cavaliers could become a rare team that proposes a one-on-one straight-up trade for Giannis.

He believes that both teams will accept and benefit from direct player deals with Evan Mobley.

Simmons said: “I think it’s a great trade. Giannis is a better player, but Mobley is six and a half years younger.

“I think it’s a really fair deal. That trade makes a lot of sense to me. I know they love Mobley there.”

Evan Mobley is the defensive player of the year and a key part of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ successful regular season, winning 64 games.

Evan Mobley averaged 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game last season, shooting 55.7% along with his defensive contributions.

Only 23 years old, he could become an attractive player to build for his future.

However, Simmons claims that by bringing Mobley out and adding Giannis Antetocompo, the Cavaliers will become the top candidate for the weakened Eastern Conference.

He said: “You can have a team in the weakened east with Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Giannis. You’re immediately gonna be your favorite of the East.”
