There is a risk that the club has either won an agreement with UEFA to do this or will not be able to register a new signature for next season’s Champions League team (Kaveh Solhekol).
This comes after Chelsea was fined earlier this month for violating FFP rules. So, that’s why sales are important for Blueco, despite the club being fairly solid in terms of the individual PSR laws of the Premier League.
Chelsea has already raised about £158 million through transfers this summer, coming after Samuels Smith sealed off a £6.5 million move to sister club Strasbourg on Thursday.
The defenders have joined Felix, Madueke, Kepa Alizabaraga, Bashir Humphreys, Marcus Bettinelli, Jorge Petrovich and Mattis Amoogo on the list of confirmed sales for Chelsea, but more can leave before the deadline.
Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga, Tosin Adarabioyo, Christopher nkunku, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu, Armando Broja, Tosin Adarabionio, Kiernan dewsbuyhadbuyo, Tosin Nicholas Jackson have all been linked to the exit at some point this summer, with Chelsea demanding the latter premium.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea has increased Jackson by up to £100 million, with interest from Man United and other top clubs rumored.
Chelsea sources hope Nicholas Jackson will seal the exit “out of nowhere”
Chelsea are not opposed to selling Senegalese this summer. Jackson endured a fierce endurance in 2024/2025 despite scoring in the conference league final against Real Betis.
He managed only one Premier League goal at the turn of the New Year, spent time on the sidelines with injuries and was sent out for a red card with Flamengo at the Club World Cup.
Journalist Simon Phillips previously reported that Jackson’s agents were working to ensure he could move elsewhere, and the same reporter has shared new updates via his Stamford Bridge source.
Phillips writes that Chelsea insiders hope Jackson will seal the exit “out of nowhere,” and the former Villarreal star is currently receiving the offer.
“A SPTC source heard yesterday that ‘Jackson is now receiving the offer.’ This story is progressing. I think he’s still going, but it’s not the dead certificate that Chelsea will replace him.
“Our sources believe Jackson’s departure will come out of nowhere at this point.”
The 24-year-old is linked to a variety of Premier League aspects, not just United.
It is believed that Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is eager to work with Jackson again and willing to work with Jackson again after coming together in La Liga in Villarreal.
He could be a skilled solution on the part that is desperate to sign a new center forward, but they must first pass the Chelsea sky rating.
