The £50 million Crystal Palace Star tells the Chiefs what he wants
Signing players like Ndidi and Cherki could be a top priority for the Eagles, given that they could lose key players. According to TBR Football, Ebebeki Eze told Crystal Palace he wanted to leave the club this summer with interest from the Premier League team.
Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent of TBR Football, reports that Eze feels it’s the right time for him to leave the palace. The news comes amid a great deal of interest from Premier League teams. Manchester United hopes to sign Eze, but the Spurs consider signing Eze as a replacement for his son Heungmin, and Liverpool will be considered the frontrunner to secure the deal.
Bailey said about Eze’s situation: “It will depend on the palace’s request for his release clause. There is very little to pay with one lump sum. I don’t think the palace will do that to eze. Tottenham loves the players.
“City is considering strengthening the midfield ranks during attack, but Florian Wiltz is ahead of him in that regard, too, too, Lucas Paketa, Charles de Queteraère and Francisco Tlinkin.
“Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all fully aware of him and are fans of his talent, but I don’t think it’s a priority for him when he’s standing. Eze feels that it’s right to move on his side and expresses this in the palace.”
Eze, who has been called “terrifying” by his teammate Joel Ward, will cost his team at least £50 million this summer.
