Leeds United are strongly linked to a potential double relocation raid at Newcastle United this summer.
The newly promoted sides need a busy summer to strengthen their team before anything likely to become a highly challenging Premier League campaign.
Leeds was demoted several years ago, with all three newly promoted teams coming off from the top flight last season.
One of the experienced Premier League players linked to Leeds is Sean Longstaff of Newcastle. And now, a new report claims that Daniel Fark’s side can land Joe Wilk from the Magpie as well.
Leeds signing the Newcastle duo?
Leeds fans hope that this experienced midfield duo will arrive at Elland Road.
Wilk is a particularly underrated player who can certainly bolster most Premier League aspects, even if he falls into the recent hierarchy of Eddie Howe’s team.
It will be interesting to see if both of these targets can be secured soon, but LUFC certainly wouldn’t want to leave it too late.
The Yorkshire outfit requires the best possible preseason preparation for the toughest seasons to come, including getting it right in the transfer market.
Wilk and Longstaff are certainly open to considering their future after struggling to get their playing time these days.
