The Los Angeles spurred the roster move on Thursday afternoon. Right-handed JP Feyereisen, who previously spent time in LA, was argued from an exemption from the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

The also acquired right-handed Ryan Roots from the St. Louis Cardinals due to cash considerations. To protect the 40-man roster for both rescuers, the moved Michael Kopeck and Blake Trainen to their 60-day injury list.
Feyereisen was traded for the by the Tampa Bay Rays before 2023. However, he didn’t play that season as he was rehabilitating from an injury. In 2024, the right-hander appeared once in the with the San Diego Padres in the Soul series.
Feyereisen will soon be an option, and has made a total of 10 major league appearances for the throughout the 2024 campaign. He struggled strongly as he recorded an 8.18 ERA with nine strikeouts in 11 innings.
At the end of the season, the right-hander selected a free agency and signed with the Diamondbacks in March.
The route was assigned by the Cardinals earlier this week. The right-hander began his year with Triple A Memphis this season, so he has not played in the major leagues this season. Loutos has a 3.38 ERA with 6 strikeouts in eight innings for minors.
After his first rocky appearance in 2025, the right-hander pitched seven scoreless innings.
The 26-year-old made three major league appearances for the Cardinals last season. The route pitched in 2.1 innings allowed two hits and a run of zero.
Manager Dave Roberts recently said it was concern that the bullpen would lead the league in the innings, and that the appear to be hoping that the arrivals will arrive and that Feyerien will provide help to the already overworked bullpen.
As for the corresponding move, Kopech will be out for at least two and a half weeks, while Treinen misses a considerable amount of time with a forearm injury.
