The Los Angeles announced Tuesday that they would visit the White House on April 7 to meet President Donald Trump to celebrate their 2024 World Series victory.
“In line with the long-standing baseball tradition, President Trump invited the 2024 world champion Los Angeles to the White House when he played in Washington, DC on April 7th,” the wrote about the X.
“In addition, members will be visiting Capitol Hill on April 8th.”

The had to wait nearly a year to visit the White House after winning the 2020 World Series during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The team visited the White House in July 2021 and became the first professional sports team to visit the White House during President Joe Biden’s administration.
Due to health and safety protocols at the time, the were just over 50 people in attendance, with only 20 players, staff and coaches.
This time there should be a more fulfilling group to celebrate the 2024 title.
