The Indian Cricket Committee (BCCI) has announced the coaching staff for the A Tour to England. Hrishikesh Kanitkar has been named the team’s head coach.
Team A will also be accompanied by Assam (fielding coach) and former Indian and Maharashtra batsman Troy Cooley (bowling coach) Subhodeep Ghosh. Domestic performers are named by teams, and will be a great opportunity to seal their place with the main team.
Indian team plays three games on tour to the UK
Team A will play three games on their tour to the UK. The first two games will be against the England Lions, while the third will be against the main Indian team. The Indian main team will serve as preparation for the Ben Stokes-led five-match Test series, which will begin on June 20th at Headingley, Leeds.

The first match against the England Lions will take place in Canterbury on May 30th. The next match is scheduled to begin on June 6th at Northampton. The match against the Indian main team will be held closed doors in Beckenham from June 13th to 16th.
BCCI was named to a team of 18 members for the A Tour
BCCI was selected to a team of 18 members for the tour. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Karun Nair, Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Shardul Thakur, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sarfaraz Khan and Ishan Kishan are among the team.
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudalsan will be joining the team from their second match. Team A will depart for two batches for the UK on May 25th and 26th.
BCCI to name the English Series teams in the final week of May
Cricbuzz’s report provided the latest information on the announcements of the main teams in India. It has been known that the Indian Cricket Committee (BCCI) will name the team in the final week of May. The team was scheduled to be selected on May 23rd, but it has been postponed.
This is based on the view that the IPL is postponed and subsequent reopened. The report also claimed that teams from the five-match Test Series would leave on June 6th and leave about two weeks before the first test of the series.
According to the report, Gautam Gambhir, who is set to leave for England early, added that he will travel with his main team on a schedule. This Test Series will also mark the start of a new edition of the ICC World Test Championship.
Following the first game, the next four games will take place in Birmingham (from July 2), Lords (from July 10), Manchester (from July 23), and finally in Oval (from July 31).
