Bangladesh has never won the Asian Cup

The Tigers have been extremely competitive in the Asian Cup tournament for many years, but have not been able to get the trophy.

They made their debut at the Asian Cup in 1986, securing two losses in the group stage, finishing three out of three teams. They then consistently finished at the bottom of the group, not winning with minimal wins or NO from 1988 to 2000.

They won their first Asian Cup match in 2004 and recorded their second victory in 2008.

However, they lost against Pakistan in the 2012 final and against India in the 2016 final. In the 2018 edition of the Asian Cup, they once again faced defeat at the hands of blue men in the summit crash.

Speaking about their recent performance, they didn’t win a game in the 2022 Asian Cup. There were only two matches in the 2023 Asian Cup.
