The Indiana Pacers have followed an impressive run during the 2024-25 NBA season.
Despite being an underdog at the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers reached the 2025 NBA Finals.
During that sensational run, the Pacers defeated things like the Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks.
However, in Game 7 of the Finals, the Pacers had to come back empty-handed due to a terrible torn Achilles injury from Tyrese Halliburton.
With Halliburton likely going out for the season, head coach Rick Carlisle has a tough season ahead of him, which could mean the Pacers miss the postseason.
However, given the Pacers’ 2025 final, it’s clear that the front office doesn’t need to make any major changes to the roster.
With that in mind, there’s everything added to the Pacer roster ahead of the next season.
- Isaiah Jackson (re-signed 3-year contract)
- James Wiseman (re-signed 2-year contract)
- Jay Huff (trade from the Memphis Grizzlies)
- Thomas Bryant (signed as a free agent)
These additions aren’t major, but if there’s no one player who excites Pacers fans, it’s nothing more than Benedict Matlin.
The 23-year-old is expected to finally jump and create a place for himself with the Pacers’ 2025-26 starting lineup.

It’s understandable that in the incredible finals, Top Brass keeps their cores locked in as long as possible.
Many viewed Miles Turner as part of its core. However, the veteran center has surprisingly decided to join the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency.
- Miles Turner (remained as a free agent)
Turner is the only prominent star to leave the pacer this offseason. He averaged 14.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game for the Pacers over the decade.
