The Los Angeles have called on right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller to make their 2025 regular season debut.

The 26-year-old Miller has made three triple A appearances this season, earning a 2.25 ERA in 12 innings. Miller took part in spring training as a candidate to win the No. 5 starter job, but was hit in the head on a line drive in the Cactus League opener, essentially kicking him out of the running.
Luckily, Miller was not seriously injured, but now has his first opportunity at the Major League level just weeks after the 2025 season.
Miller tried out the 2024 season after the 2023 breakout rookie year. Miller won an 8.52 ERA in 56 innings last year and an 8.52 ERA in 56 innings. He won a 3.76 ERA in 2023 with 22 starts.
Miller finished the 2024 season with a triple-A and didn’t get a call-up when the desperately needed pitching help to enter the postseason. But the right-hander has looked sharp in the minor leagues so far, and will try to prove he’s back in full with a start with Wednesday with the Colorado Rockies.
