Over the past three seasons, the Chicago Bulls have failed to secure a winning record in the NBA.
In fact, it’s been a long time since the Chicago Bulls became a successful franchise in the league, and it has been revealed from just two postseason appearances in the last decade.
Even with talented head coaches like Billy Donovan at the helm, the team is as good as the roster the front office has built.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at what Bulls fans will witness on their roster ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
Most of the Bulls’ offseason was spent dealing with the contract demands of Josh Giddy, the team’s 22-year-old point guard.
After weeks of struggle, the Bulls finally re-signed Giddy to a four-year, $100 million deal. Even former Bulls starzack Lavigne felt Giddy deserved after his 2024-25 season run.
Apart from that, there will be all the additions to the team’s roster ahead of the upcoming season.
- Josh Giddey (re-signed 4-year contract)
- Tre Jones (re-signed 3-year contract)
- Isaac Okoro (trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers)
After finishing 39-43 during the 2024-25 regular season, it was pretty quiet during the offseason.
They appear to have fixed all hopes on Giddey to lead the team into the playoff berth next season. The 22-year-old security guard is coming out shortly after an average of 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game for the Bulls.

As mentioned earlier, the Bulls have not made any major changes to their roster ahead of the new campaign.
This includes only one player who broke up with the franchise this summer.
- Lonzoball (trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers)
Lonzo Ball spent four years with the Bulls but missed two full seasons due to injuries. Even after his return, the once-advertised prospects struggled to function well for the team.
The Bulls certainly don’t miss the ball’s 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per 3.3 games.
