The Chicago Bulls have set their roster for the summer league, with familiar faces and new names as well.
Matas Buzelis is the headline name for the upcoming NBA Summer League Chicago Bulls roster.
The impressive 2024 draft selection has enjoyed a strong rookie season for the Bulls, claiming teammate Ayo Dosam could be like Giannis.
The Bulls hope he will get more reps ahead of his sophomore season, where he will perform alongside some new teammates.
These include the Bulls’ 2025 First Round Draft Selection NOA Esenju.
The Chicago bull signed the roster to Kawamura Shinki, following his previous spell with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Japan’s international Kawamura is worth noting that it is just 5 feet 8 inches tall and is the shortest player in the NBA.
He’s taller than the shortest NBA player ever, the 5-foot-3-inch Magsy Borg.
Kawamura made his NBA debut in October 2024 when he became the shortest active player in the league.
He continued to play 22 games for the Memphis Grizzlies. This included 28 minutes in the final game of the season, with 12 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Kawamura played most of the season in The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies G-League costume, representing the G-League during All-Star Weekend.
He will play alongside the 6-foot-10-inch Buselis over the next few weeks.
A more controversial addition is former Los Angeles Clippers’ first round pick Josh Primo, who was suspended in the league in 2023 for off-court reasons.
