Manchester United reportedly are in a race to relocate Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah as he announced he would leave this summer.
The experienced German International is approaching free agency and his club appears to know that he will not sign a new contract.
It quotes Leberkusen saying he knows his decision, according to Sky Sports, but added that Man Utd is positioning himself as one of the 29-year-old potential suitors.
Tar looks like an exciting opportunity in the market. The Red Devils can do well to snap him in this low-cost, low-risk deal.

SkySports also links TAH to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and others, so it would not be easy for United to win the race with his signature.
Still, MUFC scored one foot in the Europa League final after beating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the first leg last night.
Winning the Europa League allowed them to seal off United’s qualifying rounds in the Champions League and land some players they might otherwise have struggled to attract.
However, it is still unclear what Tah will decide, as Sky Sports suggests that Xabi Alonso will become Real Madrid’s manager.
What Jonathan Ta said about his future
“To be honest, I don’t have a time slot. But the club knows about it, and it’s been the same thing forever,” Tah is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
It seems pretty clear now that he won’t return to Leberkusen for him, so it makes sense that there is a growing interest in him.
United certainly plummeted for TAH for free, with Reuben Amorim playing three behind, so it seems like more depth will be needed in that position next season.
