Manchester United reportedly sees Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller as an option that could be explored towards the end of the summer transfer period.
According to Ben Jacobs, there is internal discussion at Man Utd about entering the market for players in that position.
There is no guarantee that a deal will occur, but the 24-year-old German Stiller is one of the names discussed as a potential target pursued by the Red Devils.
For Jacobs’ posts on X, for United’s interest in Stiller following his previous interest in Brighton’s Carlos Valleva in that position…
Jacobs said: “One of the midfielders on Manchester United’s options list is Angelo Stiller from Stuttgart. #murnc Decide whether to sign another midfielder before the window closes. ”
Manchester United are keeping an eye on Angelo Stiller after Carlos Valleva’s transfer
As athletics David Ornstein pointed out in an interview with NBC Sports, Baleba looks impossible this summer, but it could remain a long-term target for the club…
Baleba looks like he was ideal for United, but Stiller is certainly another great option worth considering.
MUFC has been doing well to bolster their offense this summer, bringing a whole new front 3 in the form of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
But apart from that, this is almost the same team that finished 15th in the Premier League table last season, so more changes are certainly needed.
Baleva and Stiller make sense as targets on Reuben Amorim’s side. This is because there is clearly a need for upgrades to lower-performing defensive midfielders Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte.
