The Los Angeles are off to a great start in the history of Major League Baseball, the defending World Series champion.
Following a nonexistent, 6-5 walk-off victory that had won the Atlanta Braves 6-5 on Wednesday night, the moved to 8-0 that year, surpassing the 1933 New York Yankees, who had their title defensive season 7-0.

The and San Diego Padres are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the league. This is the fifth time in MLB history that multiple teams have started 7-0 or higher, and the first time since 2003.
In addition to the history of the entire league, the 8-0 start is the third best start in the history of the franchise, and it’s the best since moving to Los Angeles.
The Brooklyn at the time began 9-0 in 1940 and 10-0 in 1955.

Although there were no wins like Wednesday night’s walk-off after tracking 5-0, LA is the first team in MLB history to start season 8-0 despite being down in at least six games.
The recent victory was a shock for everyone, including manager Dave Roberts.
“I was a bit stupid tonight,” Roberts said Wednesday night. “I was umbed up with the way we were playing. We didn’t recognize the club in the first couple’s innings, and we found a way to win that game. We had no business winning that game.
The have proven relentless, and at this point, we don’t know how long they can live their undefeated season.
