The Los Angeles are the most popular team in Major League Baseball for the 2025 season. On Monday, MLB’s Jersey Sales reaffirmed that.
MLB has released its most popular player jerseys, based on the sale of Nike jerseys from the site’s Fanatics network since the culmination of the World Series. The had two top spots, three out of the top four spots, and the top 20 overall.
Shohei Ohtani (of course) came in first place, but he was followed by second-place World Series MVP Freddie Freeman.

First non-dogger, New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto was in third place, while shortstop Mookie Betts was in fourth place and right behind him.
Aaron Judge, the first player for the New York Yankees, came in fifth place, followed by Francis Colindore of the Mets, Blythe Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies, Jose Altoube of the Houston Astros and Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves.
The top ten was another and pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto.
After Yamamoto, who was No. 11, he was nothing more than the ‘ future Hall of Fame Clayton Kershaw. San Diego Padres’ Fernando Tatis Jr., Cincinnati Reds’ Erie Delacruz, Baltimore Orioles’ Gunnar Henderson and Pittsburgh Pirates’ Paul Skens finished the top 15.
The 16th spot was by far the biggest surprise as utility man and fan favorite Kique Hernandez were there. The last four players are: Corey Seager of the Texas Rangers, and Manny Machado of the Kansas City Royals, “Bobby Whitt Jr., Yankees Anthony Volpe, Padres.”
