Liam Lawson narrowly avoided collision with two marshals early in the Mexico City Grand Prix.

Lawson suffered an early retirement at Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez after an incident on lap 1.

The Racing Bulls driver was lucky to avoid two marshals who were clearing debris from the track at the beginning of the corner.

Lawson was clearly reliving the experience, as evidenced by his team radio exchanges with Racing Bulls engineers.

Lawson reported over the team radio, “Mate. Oh my god, are you kidding? Did you just see that?”

His RB engineer replied, “Yeah, I saw it.”

Lawson said, “Oh my god, man.”

The RB engineer said, “Well, you did a good job of dodging it.”

Lawson concluded: “I could have killed them with shit.”
