Liverpool were one step closer to winning the Premier League title while defeating Leicester City 1-0 at King Power Stadium on Sunday, pushing their opponents in the process.
The Reds fought hard throughout the game and took the lead, but they had to wait deeper into the second half.
Arne Slot was rewarded with a cameo that took the defender off the bench at the second 45th and won the match from the academy alumni.
Trent Alexander Arnold’s match win display
England International were off the bench to secure all three points for the Reds in his goal late after Connor Bradley began the match.
Alexander Arnold only scored two goals in 28 Premier League matches before Sunday’s match, but the fullback stepped up to win the victory on a left-footed strike that was too hot for Mads Hermansen to handle.
However, his display in the match was not perfect. The use of the ball outside that goal has not reached normal standards, completing 50% (4/8) of pass attempts and losing ownership eight times from 15 touches.
This may have given Leicester a route back to the game late.

Football Fancast’s Chalkboard series presents tactical discussions centered around global games.
Midfielder Dominique Zobosilai made himself non-propene from the start with a great all-round display, so there were some Liverpool players who were better than the winners of the match that day.
Why Dominik Szoboszlai is non-repeated
Hungarian International was removed from XI with a narrow victory for West Ham at Anfield last time as Curtis Jones left before him, but he didn’t blame himself on his great show.
Szoboszlai must maintain his place before England International after a very efficient and creative display in the middle of the park with Leicester.
In the middle, once described as “magic” by talent scout Jacek Kulig, Whiz has created two “big chances” for his teammates.
As you can see in the table above, Suzoboschlei surpassed Jones in his mid-round role after the British were unable to create opportunities, let alone “big opportunity” in West Ham Crush.
Despite playing another 52 minutes, the Hungarian dynamo, who lost fewer numbers than Alexander Arnold, should now not be overlooked in that position before Jones after he was way ahead of him.
Szoboszlai was more impressive than the Liverpool match winner. Because the rest of the performances of the defenders outside of strike have been a little away to be desired.
