Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim appears to have made a mistake this season by not giving Marcus Rashford a chance.
England International was frozen several times by the Amorim male UTD team before it was shipped on loan to Aston Villa in January.
This seemed to be the end of Rashford’s Old Trafford’s career after falling into big form over the past year or two, but he now looks back at his best in the villa.
Unai Emery has come out well to play Rashford again. Pandit’s Daniel Sturridge believes he is proving that all critics are wrong.
See below. The former Liverpool striker discusses Rashford’s impressive response to the story set by Amorim…
Rashford looks like he’s an exciting permanent signature for the villa, but it remains to be seen whether this revival will be able to see him regain his place at United.
Does Marcus Rashford still have a future with Manchester United?
Perhaps it would make sense for Amorim to look at Rashford again in the preseason and give him a fresh start, but at the same time, it would be difficult to see it happening either.
Simply put, the Portuguese tactician will have his own ideas about how this team wants to see as inheriting the struggling aspects from Eric Ten Hag.
Even if there’s something to offer Rashford, it would definitely make more sense for Amorim to stick with his decision here and try to build something else with this MUFC team.
Former sports Lisbon managers need to have a very specific tactical idea and be able to perfectly select the player that suits their philosophy.
Rashford is probably not very suitable for the Amorim style, so it was chosen faster than anyone who couldn’t even make a bench on multiple occasions before being loaned out.
