The “most offensive” MotoGP riders have been identified.
The suspicious explanation was given to Alex Marquez of Gresini Ducati.
He was a groundbreaking star in the first two rounds of the 2025 MotoGP season, following only his respected brother, Mark Marquez.
Alex finished P2 in both sprint races and in both Thailand and Argentine Grand Prix.
In particular, he outperforms the factory Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia, who will benefit from the new machinery.
Alex Marquez said, “I learned to control his ‘red mist’.”
“The issue of Alex is a contradiction,” TNT Sports’ Suzi Perry said of the old issues with Gresini riders over the Argentina weekend.
“He has a flash of glow, then a red mist.”
Michael Laberty agreed: “He is very aggressive early on, probably the most offensive rider.
“I remember him ruining the mess (Johan Zarco) several times last season. Zarco had a few things to say about Alex.
“He’s very calm and smiling. But when the visor drops? The red fog is definitely for Alex.
“He learned to control, he’s really fast on every track we’ve done.
“He could be a surprise package for the 2025 season. He was able to fight on every track, be a thorn on Pecco’s side and plague Mark.”
Alex Marquez sits second in the championship after two rounds, shying his brother total of 16 points.
He wasn’t leaning widely to compete for the championship during the preseason.
However, Mark claims that Alex can win multiple races this year.
“In spite of his gentle attitude, he has optimistic expectations,” Laberty said of Alex’s realistic goals.
“He believes in himself.
“It’s the best when you know how good Mark is.
“He works to do as good as Mark and learn to craft that to extract the excess from the bike and tires. No one else can do that.
“Of everyone on the grid, Mark helps Alex more than any other teammate.”
Alex has already responded to some observations that his brothers are not competing as viciously as they compete with another rival.
He demanded talk to them to stop them from showing too much respect for Mark while they were playing the track.
