The Los Angeles moved their roster ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Washington Nationals.
Left-handed pitcher Justin Wobleski was called from Triple A to start Tuesday’s game. Right-handed pitcher Matt Soher has returned to Triple A.

The needed a starter to replace left-handed pitcher Blake Snell. Blake Snell was placed on the list injured due to shoulder inflammation. Wrobleski got his first crack as being his replacement, leaving the 2024 season, making eight appearances for the , starting six times, and earning a 5.70 ERA in 36.1 innings.
Wrobleski received strong spring training and won a 1.93 ERA in 9.1 innings. In one triple-A start of this season, he pitched 5.2 innings of shutout baseball, allowing three walks, allowing three hits and two walks.
Wrobleski could be extended at MLB level as Snell is set to miss weeks due to a shoulder injury.
“Hopefully it’s a few weeks and I’m back and ready to go then,” Snell said with the injury. “I was feeling it for about three weeks… When I got to Philadelphia, I thought I could go through it. I tried to toss, catch, throw it. It’s just terrible. I was hoping to get through it and pitch.

The also want to keep Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Joi Shiroki on their regular schedule, so they need a starting pitcher for Wednesday’s game. Right-handed pitcher Landonnack, who joined the White House team on Monday, is scheduled to be called up for Wednesday’s game.
