Beginisovic, who races with Hitech and Formula 2 this year, will replace Charles LeClair at the opening practice held at the Bahrain International Circuit on April 11th.

Startingovic was the first to join Ferrari’s Young Driver program in 2020, following his step-up to single-seater machines.
He won the Formula Regional European Championship in his second attempt in 2023, winning multiple races in Formula 3, reaching sixth place in last year’s Championship.
He made his F2 debut in the penultimate round of 2024, replacing Juan Manuel Correa at the dam and earning the podium in his second weekend in the series in Abu Dhabi.
In 2025, he competed in the full F2 season with Hitech, teaming up with Williams Junior Luke Browning.
FP1 debut at Bahrain will become the second Swede to drive a Ferrari F1 car in an official session after Stefan Johansson, who raced with the team in 1986-87.
Swedish native Ronnie Peterson represented Ferrari in endurance races and was part of the Le Mans 24 Hours factory team in 1970.
