The New York Knicks have three unruly players who can't trade Kevin Durant, Kendrick Perkins claims

After a disturbed mission with the Phoenix Suns, Kevin Durant could be trying to move away from the offseason franchise.

Since moving to the team in 2023, Kevin Durant has made two playoffs but has not been able to inspire them in the postseason.

This campaign, the Phoenix Suns, was expected to step up as they brought a championship-winning coach at Mike Budenholzer, but Kevin Durant and he have not been successful.

Recently, Durant has been the subject of more trade speculation with experts predicting his next landing point.

Kevin Durant’s former teammate Kendrick Perkins also shared two cents on the same cent, but predicted it would be difficult to carry out a two-time champion deal.

Kevin Durant headed to the Phoenix Suns after seeing Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson go to the net as part of their contract.

Both were great 3-and-D players, but Perkins thinks it’s unlikely that the team would give up on such people anymore, as the importance of such people is growing.

To support his point, Perkins cited examples of the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets.

Speaking about the “Road Trippin” podcast, he said: “The unruly Knicks have three: Jalane Branson, OG Anunoby, in the town of Karl Anthony. I’ll leave him there.

Durant is only 36 years old and plays high-level basketball, but wing players who can score and defend are rare in the league.

Perkins has recognized Kevin Durant as an incredible player, but he believes that it is unlikely that teams will include these players in the deal to introduce previous MVPs.

“I know KD is great, it’s the same as rockets. Rockets are better not to touch Armentompson.

“You can’t do that. You can’t replace those reliable wings. Take a look at DeAndre Hunter for the effects you’ve had on the Cleveland Cavaliers,” Perkins added.

Despite the disappointing season for the Suns, where they struggle under the top ten in the West, Kevin Durant still managed to have a great individual season.

He averages 26.6 ppg and 6 rpg with 52.7% shooting from the field.

These are big numbers for a player at age 36 who plays after a serious Achilles injury.

The Suns also have things like Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, but they were never right with the three scorers on the team.

They lacked the defensive anchor, and neither did they have the depth needed to compete in Western conferences, which have become stronger in recent years.

This is why the team is trying to trade Durant.

He is heading for the Twilight years of his career, but Durant’s game is pure and based on his ability to score.

The 36-year-old can bow his head to reach the rim, but he usually doesn’t need it for the finesse of his playing style.

The Minnesota Timberwolves made an effort to trade with Kevin Durant earlier this season, but the Rockets and San Antonio Spurs have also been mentioned. This is a great place for Durant.

These are both younger teams, and adding players like Durant will help them advance to championship contenders.
