The New York Knicks appear to be a favorite of the Eastern Conference for the 2025-26 NBA season.

New York is off the season when it first arrived at the Eastern Conference Finals since 2000 before being eliminated by the Indiana Pacers.

But as they enter this season, the Knicks probably don’t have to worry about the Pacers again.

The Boston Celtics, which the Knicks beat in the second round of the playoffs, will be without Jason Tatum again this year.

The Knicks are building a Championship Caliber roster at this point and may not be able to add players.

The Knicks have had an impressive offseason so far, making the right move around the edge.

They hired new head coach Mike Brown to sign Jordan Clarkson, Gershon Yabsel, Landry Shemet and Malcolm Brogdon.

The Knicks may not be there as they are aiming for two former Los Angeles Lakers players Alex Ren and Tray Jemison III.

New York hopes to add both training camps that begin on September 24th.

The good thing about Bondy, which Alex Len and Trey Jemison III have pointed out to be other NBA players, is the NBA players the Knicks are considering bringing to training camp. https://t.co/owwc15meoy

Alex Wren was signed as a free agent by the La Lakers after being cut off by the Sacramento Kings in early 2025.

Ren had no effect on the Lakers at all, and Lakers fans were heavily criticized for his performance.

Reggie Miller even blows up him and says the Lakers should have picked up Dwight Howard instead.

Coach JJ Reddick also seemed unimpressed, and Ren thwarted the action in the playoffs.

The Knicks are considered true title candidates.

The Knicks seem to be a beat-hitting team in the east as other teams such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic and even the Atlanta Hawks are threatened.

The Knicks are seeking their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 and their first NBA Championship since 1973.

We’ve been waiting for Knicks fans, but looking at their roster and the state of the East, this may be the year when things will eventually go.
