Following a 4-3 victory in Game 2 of the Los Angeles ‘ National League Division Series, the Philadelphia Phillies made a big announcement.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson has revealed that Aaron Nora is set to start Game 3 at Stadium. The right-hander has been sportsing a 6.01 ERA with 97 strikeouts in 94.1 innings this season.
With Nora’s three starts in September, he gave up more than four won runs. After losing the NLDS’ first two games at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies turn to Nora to dodge the Red Hot lineup.
Rangers Ares, who sports the 3.20 ERA this season, will back up Nora in Game 3 on Wednesday.
Game 2 play was at the bottom of the ninth inning, with the leading on one run. Thomson chose to have a runner and Bryson Stott bunt in second, following a three-hit streak from the Phillies lineup.
The performed the perfect wheel play with Mookie Betts and Max Muncy reducing the third potential cohesion run.
The head home with a 2-0 lead in the NLDS. This is very impressive considering that Citizens Bank Park is considered one of the most challenging road environments.
“It’s huge,” said manager Dave Roberts. “It’s absolutely huge. Everyone is really stepping up.”
