The Los Angeles have revitalized Max Muncie from the injured list after a month of absence. He will replace Tommy Edman on the roster heading towards IL with a right ankle injury.

Muncie has been out since early July after suffering a knee injury when Chicago White Sox outfielder Michael A. Taylor slipped into his leg.
Muncie was initially expected to miss a minimum of six weeks, but he has made incredible progress and has returned for over a month since his injury.
The lineup missed Muncie, who had hit .304 with 12 home runs and an OPS of 1.009 in the final 47 games before the injury. All season, left-handed slugger hits .250 with an OPS of .832.

As for Edman, the Utility Man has been battling ankle injuries since May when he first went to IL with inflammation in his right ankle. He rounded out one base and tweaked again in Sunday’s match, staying at the top of five innings.
Edman got off to a strong start this season, hitting .252 with eight home runs in March and April and .818 in OPS. However, he has been struggling since May, hitting just .214 with four home runs and an OPS .596.
Along with Illinois Edman, rookie Alex Freeland will be extended at the MLB level and could potentially buy some playing time on 2 bases. On Monday, Miguel Rojas plays Nibase.
