Liverpool has been spending weeks coming up with issues off the field and there appears to be some good news regarding the situation of Mohamed Sarah, one of three heavyweights who are under contract at the end of the season.

Sarah, Virgil van Dick and Trent Alexander Arnold ended their contract on June 30th, and there are no terms and conditions for a new deal with Liverpool, less than three months before that date.

But the good news for Liverpool supporters around the world is that they should see more Sara in red jerseys for at least one season.

As the Times reported, Sarah is approaching signing a new contract at Anfield, and Liverpool officials are increasingly confident that the Egyptian king will extend his eight-year stay at the club.

Liverpool has always been convinced that Sarah will sign a new deal despite the fact that no agreement has been reached after months of negotiations, but now it is expected that this trust is not false.

Sarah had an incredible 2024-25 season, with 32 goals and 22 assists accumulated in 45 appearances in all competitions. In the Premier League, he won the net 27 times while lying on his teammates in 17 times. Seven league matches are still ongoing until the campaign ends. And while it’s special to finish his time at Merseyside with these numbers, he doesn’t seem to be doing that this year.
