Liverpool has been deeply connected to the movements of Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wiltz over the past few weeks.
The 22-year-old is set to record the club record move to Liverpool this summer, and a report from Sky Sports revealed how much he can earn at Premier League clubs.
The German midfielder is undoubtedly one of the best talents of his generation, and he has all the attributes to develop into a world-class player.
Liverpool is set to be large spending
Liverpool is expected to spend around 150 million euros on him. They appear to offer him a premium wage of around 20 million euros per season (385K-1 week per week).
The Bayer Leverkusen star has contributed 31 goals this season, and he has proven himself in the Bundesliga. He has been helping German clubs win the league title last season, aiming to compete at the highest level with the Premier League champions.
Liverpool needs Florian Wharts
Liverpool needs more creativity and cutting edge in the final third, and the 22-year-old adds just that. He has the physical and technical attributes to get along well in the Premier League, and he aims to have an immediate impact on British football.
The player was also heavily linked to Bayern Munich, but it appears he turned down the German champion. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can quickly sign a contract.
The Reds have won league titles this season and they are now consistently looking to win major trophies. It’s no surprise that they’re looking to bring in the best players like Wirtz. It is still unclear whether they will be able to block other weaknesses on their side before the summer transfer window closes.
