Tottenham Hotspur loves the deadline day to sign under Daniel Levy, and well, they made something else.
On Monday, the Spurs completed the signature of striker Randall Coro Muani, arrives on an in-season loan from Paris Saint-Germain, and is charged a 5 million euro (about £4.3 million).
This certainly gives Thomas Frank a lot of choices regarding his center forward position. Richarrison started all four matches in that position, including the previous UEFA Super Cup, and bagged the braces on the first day of the Premier League season against Burnley.
Not to mention Dominique Solanke, who joined the Spurs for £65m last summer, has seen 49 minutes of action so far this season, spreading over three alternative appearances, but he is a serious minutes of candidate.
But will Tottenham sell one of Europe’s highest scorers since its launch last season?
What Randal Colomani brings to Tottenham
Tottenham is representing fifth club Coro Muani in just six seasons and is looking for a more permanent home.
His major breakthrough took place at Nantes, scoring 12 league goals for Canary in 2021/22, earning the transition to Aintrak Frankfurt.
Well, one season and 23 goals after, Coro Muani joined Paris Saint-Germain on the 2023 deadline on a potential £78 million contract, which has not proven to be a sensible investment from Les Rouge-Et-Bleu.
Never in Luis Enrique’s plan, the Frenchman scored just 11 goals in 54 PSG appearances, spending the second half of last season loaned out for Juventus.
But now he scores goals in League One, Bundesliga and Serie A, but he hopes to add the Premier League to this list and make Tottenham’s debut against West Ham after an international break.
Well, perhaps the Spurs didn’t have to sign Koro Muani.
Former Tottenham Striker Free Scoring in Europe
He scored 17 goals in 15 U18 appearances and nine goals in nine UEFA Youth League outings, which gave him a lot of excitement from Tottenham’s fan base, even before his senior debut in September 2019.
Nevertheless, despite the Irish scored freely at the youth level, they only made four appearances with the Senior Spurs, loaned to Millwall, Ipswich, Milton Keynes and Preston before exploding in the Netherlands.
On loan at Excelsior during the 2023/24 season, Parrott scored a total of 17 Eredivisi goals, averaged every 127 minutes, making it even more impressive by the fact that his team finished third bottom and then netted seven times during the playoffs, including four innings in the final, but this was a 7-6 loss as a Rotterdam base side.
However, this attracted the attention of larger Dutch clubs, including AZ Alkmaar, who agreed to pay 8 million euros (about £6.7 million) to sign permanently from Tottenham last summer.
Well, Cheesehead certainly made this decision. Given that Republic of Ireland International scored 20 goals last season, four of which were targeted against Elfsborg, Ferenvalos, Galatasarei and Roma.
Well, Parrott has absolutely fired up this season, including 10 netting, including seven on five conference league qualifying field trips, as well as braces on the first day of the eledibusy season against Groningen.
The table below documents how prolific he was when he was in AZ.

As the table documented, Parrott has maintained a very illustrious company since the start of last season when it came to players who have scored more than 30 goals in all competitions.
For comparison, Koro Muani scored 12 goals in the same time slot.
Former Tottenham midfielder Rafael van der Wat was certainly impressed by Eredivisy’s parrot format, labeling him as a “striker who actually has it all” and impressed with his “killer instinct” in front of the goal.
Therefore, Republic of Ireland International could prove to be a fleeing thing for Spurs fans, even if they please his prosperity in the Netherlands.
