Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with the unnamed club for the “talented” Spurs player to leave North London with Hyun Min’s son.
Hyun Min’s son tried to leave Tottenham
Spurs Captain Son is on the course to become the club’s first major departure in the summer window.
After spending 10 years in North London and lifting up the Europa League and then winning his first silverware last season, his son announced plans to leave the club ahead of his new Premier League campaign.
“I decided to leave the club in the summer, and in my respect, the club will help me with my decision, so I just want to share this information before I start a press conference.
“It was the most difficult decision of my soccer career. I’ve been here for 10 years with a beautiful club with beautiful fans and such wonderful memories.
“And at the end of the day, it was very difficult to make this decision, but like I said, I feel like I need a new environment and push myself forward, and I feel like I need a little change to get more of me.
“I came to London as a child. I was 23 years old, very young (and) a young boy who spoke no English.
“So I want to thank all the Spurs fans for giving me so much love, and I felt that was my home.
Mikey Moore and Alehovelis have already left their loan ahead of the 2025/26 season, and with their son, another highly rated Tottenham Gem will also be leaving.
Jamie Donley has reached an agreement to keep Tottenham on loan
According to a report by Lily White Rose broadcast by Tottenham News, the Spurs have reached an agreement with Jamie Donley’s unnamed Championship Club, following the club’s Korea preseason tour.
The 20-year-old has been featured under Thomas Frank in part of the preseason, with allegations that the attacking midfielder could become part of his first team plan for 25/26.
However, he is now heading for the second tier on season loan after an impressive spell with Leighton Orient in League One last year.
Leighton Orient manager Richie Wellnes loved what he saw from Donley last season.
“I can’t speak enough about Jamie. He’s a talented player. He comes to us, he’s a talented boy. Everyone can see it. When you see him in training and see the talent he has, he has all the opportunities that make him what he wants.
“We’ve been excellent in the last 14 or 15 games and he’s been an outstanding player for us. He’s an exceptional player at this level, going bigger and better.”
Now it looks like he’s ready to step up to the championship, and could push Frank’s side spot in 12 months.
