Buehler joined the Red Sox on a one-year, one-year, $21.05 million contract this offseason after his heroic performance last October, leading the to their second World Series title in five years.
However, last year’s regular season struggle continued this season. Because Buehler had a 5.45 ERA in 112.1 innings on Red Sox.
Buehler moved to the bullpen last week, with one relief being given, allowing just two runs in 2.1 innings. Now he’s hit the open market a few days before the final month of the regular season begins.

Will the bring Walker Buhler back?
I did it Get Buehler back, the bigger question is whether they are I’ll do it.
The ‘ starting rotation is as healthy as they were years ago, so there is no previous All-Star location.
Buehler could theoretically take into account the team’s bullpen, but LA is also getting healthier there, making it difficult to imagine Buehler getting an inning for his current option.
Buehler is known to turn things on in October, but taking that opportunity when the aren’t needed is a considerable risk.
It’s incredible that Buehler has returned to LA, but it’s hard to imagine LA giving him an inning during a postseason race where serious injuries were prohibited.
